About the event
The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) is calling on members, local unions, and supporters across the country to participate in a National Day of Action on July 28, 2026.
This nationwide effort is designed to unite postal workers and the public in support of a strong, reliable, and publicly owned Postal Service.
Key priorities include:
• Protecting the United States Postal Service from privatization efforts
• Supporting leadership that strengthens and invests in USPS
• Defending Vote-by-Mail and public access to postal services
