Clerk Craft Director

Your Craft Director represents Clerk Craft employees and works to ensure members are informed, protected, and supported in all matters related to their roles, assignments, and working conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Addressing issues related to mail processing, distribution, and retail operations

  • Supporting members with scheduling, assignments, and excessing concerns

  • Assisting with grievances related to clerk duties and work conditions

  • Communicating operational changes affecting clerks

  • Promoting awareness of contract rights and protections

Goals for the Clerk Craft

  • Protect clerk jobs and assignments

  • Ensure fair scheduling and workload distribution

  • Improve communication on operational changes

  • Support members impacted by excessing or restructuring

  • Strengthen member awareness of rights and protections
