The President serves as the chief executive officer of APWU Local 732 and is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and administration of the local.

Responsibilities include:

• Presiding over all membership and Executive Board meetings

• Enforcing the Local Constitution, Bylaws, and APWU National Constitution

• Overseeing all union operations, officers, and committees

• Acting as the primary representative of the local in dealings with USPS management and external organizations

• Ensuring enforcement of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Appointing committee members as required

• Providing strategic direction and leadership to advance the interests of the membership
